License verifications (endorsement or letter of good standing) are sent from NC to another state board or agency verifying the status of a license. This letter reports the status of the license and whether any discipline has been levied by the NC Board of PT Examiners. A license verification cannot be sent until after you have been licensed.

The Board does not accept or complete any external forms for verification. The letter issued in the request represents all license information that may be disclosed. No additional information will be provided.

ALL states, including CGFNS International, accept the electronic license verification directly from NCBPTE without the addition of their forms.

All requests are completed online with a $30 fee per letter designation.

After the request is submitted and the fee paid, a receipt is sent to the email address on file for the licensee. A separate request must be made for each state board or agency.

Once the request has been sent to another state board or agency, the licensee will receive confirmation via email. Verifications are processed on a regular basis.

NOTE: For license verification requests to a foreign country, send an email to PTBoard@ncptboard.org (add “license verification” in the subject line) before submitting the request online.
